A Week of Preparings and Happenings

Monday: Trying to figure out insurance for an unborn baby is turning out to be a lot harder than I expected. So far everywhere I've gone and everyone I've talked to has told me there's nothing I can do until baby boy is born. (´∩`。) It's been slightly frustrating but I guess I'll just have to be patient and hope everything works out once baby is born! ♡ The DSHS office gave me a packet that can hopefully provide some comforts and answers, atleast for after baby's born.

Since I was only at the DSHS for about twenty minutes tops, I had a lot of extra time to spare until I have my maternity photo shoot with miss Linda! She's the sweetest thing and has been SUCH a huge support since the beginning of my pregnancy. So before I went to her house to take pictures, I picked up Israel from school and brought him to the EvCC so he wouldn't have to take the bus. Here's me waiting while he's in his class (*´・v・)

When Israel finished his Eng101 class we went out for Pho to eat! Then I went out to Linda's to take maternity photos with her!! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° It was lovely, but I'll ramble on that when the I have the pictures to post c; haha!

Something I really wanted to mention is how caring Israel is. At a red light we were stopped behind lots of cars and on the side of the road was a cute little foreign lady with a sign asking for money. To be honest I didn't pay much attention to her but more on if any cars had any puppies in them (。・ω・。) But my perfect Israel got out his wallet, rolled down the window, and handed her some money. ♡ He can be such a wonderful example to me on caring about others!

Tuesday: OB appointment!! I had my first cervical check and it really wasn't so bad but I giggle oh so much it's ridiculous! \(//∇//)\ My doctor said she's very impressed with my pregnancy and body and that everything is going pretty much perfect! ♡ She also announced that baby could really come any day now which kind of freaks me out haha, I'm 10% dilated and baby boy is already atleast a whopping 7 lbs (dear lord help me)!! We're praying he'll stay in atleast a couple more weeks, but I'm hoping he doesn't get too much bigger cause OUCH! (⊙﹏⊙✿)

Wednesday: My family's church had their annual Trunk-or-Treat in honor of Halloweeny! It's meant for the much younger kids but I like to get festive regardless of my age ∩( ・ω・)∩
This is before I painted Bebe's face. They were meant to be "before" pictures, but we got a little carried away. I apologize (〃 ̄ω ̄〃ゞ hehe! ♡
I never really got to painting my own face because of short time, lack of inspiration, and I became an emotional wreck; but Israel turned at alright and I'm happy to say he was pleased ^.^ He wanted me to try and paint his face based off of the Black Ops Reaper (which to be honest I still have no idea what that is HAHA!) Overall we had a lovely night of running around like children and eating candies and cupcakes! I slept rather pleasantly that night! _(:3 」∠ )_ ♥︎♥︎♥︎
Thursday: HAPPY HALLOWEENY!! It was the last day of October and one of my favorite holidays of the year. With my pregnancy I haven't been as joyous over Halloween as I normally am but it's still an excited time. My parents and I drove to Seattle, it was long and tiring and I was sick the whole morning. Here's a car selfie c; (So sorry for wearing the same sweater as on Monday but there's only so much semi-flattering clothing at 8+ months pregnant)

My aunt Kristina flew home from serving an LDS mission in Provo, Utah! It was very exciting to see her for the first time in a year and a half! (ી(΄◞ิ౪◟ิ‵)ʃ) ♡♥︎ (ી(΄◞ิ౪◟ิ‵)ʃ)
That night we celebrated Halloweeny! Israel and I went out trick or treating ✖‿✖ I only got one picture and I'm so so sorry for it's terribleness but alas here we are! He was some creepy old lady grandma and my belly was the perfect size to be Pooh c; hah! I hope everyone had a lovely Halloween!
Friday: It's time we all celebrate and have sushi because I finished ALL my laundry!!  ♪(┌・。・)┌ When le boyfriend got off work I picked him up, we got gas, and then came home! Some friends came over and we all watched a not too scary scary movie (ง •̀_•́)ง☆彡 Israel and I didn't get to finish getting baby's room ready so hopefully I can accomplish this before next week ends. In the mean time, our sweet baby boy says goodnight!! He's 37 weeks today! ♡

Hope you all had a beautiful week! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) ♫・*:.。. .。.:*

Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk

To be honest, I’m an emotional girl.

 I cry.
。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。
A lot.

While I can try to use my pregnancy as an excuse, I have less than 4 weeks left and then my great 9 month defense will be over! So today I’ve been pondering the ups and downs of life, the many reasons why I cry, and I decided that this needs to end. I want to be a strong mother, a mother who laughs when the world throws rocks at you, and a mother who won’t cry over spilt milk.

These last couple of weeks have been rough. Baby daddy got a job (*applause* (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ:・゚✧) which is something to celebrate, but of course it also adds a new kind of stress to our lives. His boss is a pain in the butt, his hours are somewhat ridiculous, and he’s exhausted with juggling the rest of his busy life. But he’s doing it! And I know that my sensitive poopy attitude and constant tears is no help to the poor man, so today, I am putting an end to it!

So the next time I sneeze and pee myself, instead of crying or sitting in my urine in frustration, I am going to simply laugh and get up and clean myself. The next time I’m hurt or offended by words, instead of crying for hours about it and sobbing “Why me??” I am going to smile, take their words as inspiration to be a better person, and respond with love.  The next time I spill milk, I’m not going to cry.

Instead I will smile and love life. Because if I don’t, how am I going to survive?
